A big city in Texas used a FlexiRiser Pump Puller to install one of their wells using Boreline FlexiRiser. The reason they chose the Boreline was because of bad corrosion they experience. The wells are also remote, and they want to be able to mobilise and demobilise quickly.
The pump was connected to the end of the 500ft of 6” FlexiRiser and was lowered into the well. As the pump and Boreline was lowered, the power cable was connected along the length. The FlexiRiser has a rib along the length and the power cable is supported with cable straps along the entire length.
The 500ft of hose was installed in 45 minutes and the well was tested and in operation on the same day.
